The SOC Operations Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of 24x7 SOC operations, leading analysts and team leads to ensure consistent, high-quality monitoring, investigation, and response for managed security services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SOC Analysts and Team Leads to ensure effective 24x7 service delivery.
  • Ensure shift coverage, escalation clarity, and adherence to SOC operating procedures.
  • Oversee investigation quality, timeliness, and consistency across analysts.
  • Coordinate operational response during security incidents and major events.
  • Support analysts with guidance and decision-making during high-pressure situations.
  • Ensure SOC operations align with defined SLAs, SLOs, and service expectations.
  • Work closely with SOC Engineering & Quality to reduce noise and improve workflows.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Ops Engineering and Platform Engineering on operational feedback.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to service performance reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and analyst capability.
