Overview

Vigilant Security is seeking part‑time/casual SIA operators to assist in managing events across museums and corporate buildings in the London area. This opportunity allows flexible working on events ranging from 4‑12 hours, with immediate start available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, responsive, and observant security presence.
  • Perform varied duties including reception duties, access control, signing contractors in/out of site, crowd management, and protecting client licenses where required.
  • Maintain good customer service and attention to detail to ensure attendees have a safe event.

Qualifications

  • Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA licence essential.
  • 5‑year comprehensive work/education history with full company names, addresses, and landline contact numbers.
  • Excellent communication, administration, and time‑management skills.
  • Smart, well‑groomed, confident, with conflict management awareness.
  • High level of Customer Care Awareness.
  • Security systems knowledge and telephone/switchboard skills.
  • First Aid training (advantage).
  • IT literacy (advantage).
