Job type: Permanent, Full-Time | Monday to Friday.
Hourly Pay: up to £18.66 DOE, including benefits such as Westfield Health, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Christmas Shutdown call‑out programme, and Occupational Health Medical support.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality, on-schedule work completion.
- Oversee tasks such as mains laying, ducting, draw pit construction, and reinstatement.
- Perform mechanical and manual excavation techniques.
- Provide weekly safety, plant, and labour performance reports.
- Offer technical guidance and supervision on civil engineering tasks.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct inspections, quality checks, and implement corrective actions to meet industry standards.
- Coordinate plant and resource requirements with the Civils Site Manager.
- Communicate and uphold health and safety protocols, maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Civils Site Supervision with a strong background in the water industry preferred.
- Certifications: CSCS Supervisor Card, SSSTS training, CPCS Lift Supervision and Signalling, EUSR Blue Card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Health & Safety: IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS (obtained or in progress).
- Strong customer service focus.
- Soft skills: Influencing, organisational, problem‑solving, leadership, team collaboration.
- Personal traits: Assertive, confident, friendly, adaptable, safety‑conscious, tolerant, punctual, flexible.
