We are currently looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Commercial team in Letchworth.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will lead end-to-end procurement across materials and plant packages, ensuring best value and availability to ensure programme certainty and compliance.
  • Operating within COINS ERP+, the role optimises purchasing processes, strengthens supplier relationships, and drives cost, quality, and sustainability outcomes aligned to project and business objectives.

Skills & knowledge you'll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Buyer (or Buyer ready to step up) in residential or mixed-use development, housebuilding, or construction (SME environment advantageous).
  • Demonstrable understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, category management, and supplier performance management.
  • Knowledge and experience of competitive tenders, commercial evaluations, and negotiations.
  • Strong familiarity with COINS ERP+.
  • Experience reviewing drawings, performing takeoffs, and producing accurate material schedules.
  • Experience coordinating with all departments.
  • Awareness of sustainability/ESG in procurement.
