The predicted salary is between 60000 - 60000 £ per year.

Salary: £60,000 package. Potential for Project Team Leadership responsibilities. Position offers progression to Programme Manager. Work on a variety of residential and non‑residential projects with a focus on fire safety, internal and external works to HRBs and non‑HRBs, with flexibility of hybrid working.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct measured surveys of existing buildings or sites.
  • Visit sites, carry out thorough inspections and deliver comprehensive inspection reports.
  • Prepare Employer’s Requirements for Design and Build purposes.
  • Invite tenders for the main contract, conduct tender analysis and compile detailed tender reports.
  • Work on the full life cycle of projects, from specifications to schedules of work.
  • Fire safety – internal works such as sprinkler systems, smoke vents, fire doors and external works such as cladding remediation.
  • Ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Build strong client relationships through effective interaction.
  • Manage fees and develop fee proposals.
  • Mentor and support colleagues within the team.

Qualifications

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) status.
  • Building Surveying Degree (or Project Management).
  • Experience of various procurement routes, JCT/NEC.
  • Expertise in building surveying.
  • Experience in fire safety and a good understanding of the Building Safety Act and Gateway process.
  • Strong client interaction skills.
  • Proven experience managing projects across a variety of sectors and clients.
  • Building Regulations Principal Designer experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to lead a team and mentor colleagues.
