Overview: At GBA Logistics, we're expanding and looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to join our Dedicated Fleet team in Scunthorpe. This role involves general haulage and dock work, with a requirement to stay out 4 nights per week. You will represent GBA with pride and professionalism, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Ensure safe and secure loading with correct load restraint
- Comply with traffic laws, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations
- Drive safely and fuel‑efficiently
- Complete regular walk‑around inspections
- Deliver excellent customer service at every touchpoint
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation
About You – Requirements:
- A customer‑friendly manner with a positive, can‑do attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong understanding of tachograph rules and Working Time Directive
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving experience
- No DD or DR offences
- No more than 6 points on your licence
