Baily Garner LLP, a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy, seeks a highly motivated and technically proficient Retrofit Coordinator to ensure the successful delivery of retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 standards. The role involves overseeing project compliance, supporting design teams, maintaining technical quality, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with PAS 2035 and understand PAS 2030 standards.
- Oversee and manage retrofit projects from assessment to delivery.
- Review and quality-check Retrofit Assessments and Designs.
- Provide expert advice on improvement measures and additional survey requirements.
- Conduct desktop analysis and site visits, producing detailed reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external design teams.
- Identify thermal bridges and simulate improvements using SAP modelling.
- Attend project meetings, prepare minutes, and support CPD activities.
- Contribute to research, marketing, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Assessment.
- Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings.
- Strong understanding of retrofit standards and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project deliverables.
Desirable (but not essential)
- MRICS – Chartered Building Surveyor.
- Building Surveying degree (BSc or MSc).
- Previous experience working for a Consultancy.
