Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £14.13 per hour plus incentives

Hours: Full time 9am‑5pm, 5 shifts per week, including weekend working

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise activities
  • Good time management

  • Act as Ambassador for the company inside and outside of the home
  • Contribute to residents' wellbeing through thoughtful, personalised activities and maintain a weekly plan ready each Monday
  • Provide support for residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges using person‑centred distraction techniques and activity baskets; offer one‑to‑one comfort and companionship for residents unable to participate in activities, documenting interactions in their notes
  • Ensure activity calendar is uploaded to Facebook weekly and visible around the home; post interesting activities on Home’s Facebook page
  • Stay up to date with new developments in activities and care; identify and attend meetings; complete monthly newsletter and post onto Facebook
  • Encourage and involve team members, relatives and friends in activities via communication emails; act as Ambassador for the home, including fund‑raising, with all fundraising matched £ to £ by Jasmine

Requirements:

  • At least two years’ relevant experience as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator in a care home or similar environment
  • Hold or be willing to contractually sign up for NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities
  • Able to work a minimum of 35 hours per week including 2 weekend days every four weeks
  • Live within 20 minutes of the home
