We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in our nursery setting. You will be responsible for driving and managing educational activities, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care and support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning and development.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall quality of childcare provided within the nursery.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education and childcare.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
