Job Details
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (early finish 17:00 on Friday)
- Place of work: Hybrid – full‑time in office during training, then both office and home.
Responsibilities
- Answer sales requisitions by checking information with suppliers and interdepartmental teams.
- Assist category buyers in scheduling stock replenishment.
- Process requisitions and orders through the company’s ERP system.
- Verify supplier sales contracts and ensure PO and contract coherence.
- Follow up on orders and sample requests, distributing to relevant teams upon arrival.
- Monitor stocks and report low levels.
- Work with Quality team on product approvals, quality issues and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with Logistics on shipping methods, lead times and stock allocation.
- Liaise with Finance regarding payments.
- Update demand, spend and inventory reports.
Qualifications
- Good negotiation and research skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Previous procurement experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
