Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites – as a Gas Engineer. Within the team, you will be expected to provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to a range of commercial installations.

Position of the Gas Engineer:

  • Perform various reactive and preventative, trade-related duties to meet and exceed contractual obligations across multiple estates of varying ages and building types.
  • General plumbing duties, repair works and minor installations of low temperature hot water and heating systems.
  • Liaise with other staff and external contractors positively and cooperatively to ensure timely and proper completion of works to support operational expectations.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely completion of tasks, followed by submission of all relevant paperwork, job/time sheets and necessary certification.
  • Work with line manager and provide advice and information relating to any technical matters.
  • Be commercially aware and responsible for ordering required materials from suppliers efficiently, following company's purchasing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Trade-related qualification relevant for a Gas Engineer: CCN1 (or COCDN1), COCN1 (or CODNCO1), CIGA1, CDGA1LL, CCCN1, CCLP1.
