Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, start at 5.00pm and finish at 01.30am, 40 hours per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of hygiene tasks.
- Deep clean down of machinery and production areas as per Standard Operating Procedures using power hoses and other equipment including chemicals.
- Completion of line wash downs in a timely and consistent manner.
- Build-up of machinery after hygiene work has been completed.
- Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate good manufacturing practice (GMP).
- Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance.
- Help during changes on the line learning new skills as required.
- Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
- Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role.
- Knowledge of chemicals and machinery which is used in the clean down process.
Skills:
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- Keen and willing to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour plus nightshift allowance.
