Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio. You will manage the safe and profitable delivery of Arc Construction Services projects, coordinating them from start to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality and scope. All sites are based in Nottinghamshire, offering work‑life balance and support from a wider team.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to, develop, manage and deliver site delivery plans for allocated projects, ensuring delivery within the agreed programme and desired outcomes.
- Prepare and actively monitor delivery plans/programmes for allocated sites.
- Oversee day‑to‑day on‑site operations, ensuring successful completion that meets programme, budget, brief and quality constraints.
- Communicate with the Design Team to guarantee timely release of design information.
- Manage sites safely according to Arc Health & Safety procedures and coordinate multiple parallel sites.
- Collaborate with QS to control costs and supply chain, ensuring commercial outcomes.
- Ensure all aspects comply with statutory requirements and conduct safety inspections.
- Plan and organise site set‑up and logistics efficiently.
- Use NEC contractual forms and trackers with the project team to manage information flow and changes.
Requirements
- Extensive relevant site management / project construction delivery experience within a construction contracting business.
- Broad understanding of the design process and challenges to bring a project to site.
- IOCB Level 4 Certificate in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
- Broad knowledge of NEC forms in the context of change control on site and provision of project clarifications.
- SMSTS Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Strong construction, commercial and supply‑chain management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Full driving licence with business insurance.
