Location: Nottingham, England, United Kingdom

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 FTE (pro rata for part days)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week (minimum 3 days per week)

The Role:

The role would be a mixture of peripatetic travel and home‑based work. We welcome applications from experienced OHP’s across the UK. The post holder will contribute to our Occupational Health and Well‑being Service and play a key role in the ongoing development of our company and service provision for clients.

General Responsibilities:

  • Completing case management Appointed Doctor medicals (training provided if not already appointed)
  • HAVS Tier 4 assessments (training provided if required)
  • Assess fitness of workers for specific tasks, ensuring satisfactory fit between person and job, recommending suitable adjustments to enable safe and effective performance, considering health issues or disabilities
  • Monitor health of workers potentially exposed to hazards through health surveillance programmes
  • Advise employees and employers regarding work‑related health issues
  • Work with employers to promote best practice in physical and mental health to help prevent sick leave

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Hold a valid GMC Registration
  • Be at least a diploma holder in Occupational Health
  • Experience working within an Occupational Health role in public and private sectors
  • Experience dealing with complex case management and providing advice in relation to work health and health on work
  • Possess good clinical diagnostic skills and understand appropriate treatment practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have good people skills and ability to build relationships with clients and employees
  • Be self‑confident and well organised in daily workings
