We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Fuel Tanker Driver to join our dynamic team at our Hexham depot. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who is customer focused.

Job responsibilities:
- Assist in the efficient operations of the fuels depot, whilst following all operational procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Daily loading of the vehicle at the company depot, or designated fuel terminal.
- Multi-drop work delivering kerosene, road diesel, and gas oil to both domestic and commercial customers.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures, including basic vehicle maintenance, daily vehicle checks, driver risk assessment reporting, HGV compliance and tachograph regulation.
- Continuously promote our Health and Safety culture.
- Actively support teamwork to ensure targets and tasks are completed.
- Assist with other work around the depot when required, including holiday cover and support cover across other depots.
- Provide friendly and professional engagement with customers, looking for customer service opportunities to go the extra mile.
- Attend training and development meetings, including monthly H&S and toolbox talk meetings.
- Promote the business brand whilst always working towards required standards.
- Adhere to company and group policies and procedures, including Safety, Health and Environmental regulations.
Skills, experience, and qualities required:
- HGV Category C licence.
- Strong, professional communication skills.
- Willingness for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work well within a team and as an individual.
- ADR including Class 3 in tanks – training will be provided if required.
- Previous experience of fuel tanker driver and delivery of fuel.
