At Nuremore Estate by McGettigan's, we are currently recruiting for a Full & Part time Night Porter to join our successful and committed team. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and secure running of the hotel throughout the night while delivering excellent customer service to our guests.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 1 year of hotel porter experience
- Previous bar experience is an advantage
- Experience working night shifts within a hotel environment
- Computer literate and comfortable using basic hotel systems
- Professional, friendly, and committed to providing excellent customer care
- Strong team player with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive to security and safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out as required and assist promptly with any guest requests during the night
- Set up meeting rooms, function rooms, and breakfast areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Carry out security duties, including regular fire and safety checks, and complete all required checklists
- Support the Bistro/Bar team when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel
- Ensure all aspects of night operations run smoothly, professionally, and securely
