Position Summary
Purpose of the Position: To support Maen Karne in its objective to become the first choice for concrete product supply in the South West while complying with H&S guidelines to achieve our target of Zero Harm.
Responsibilities
- Operate semi‑automatic block plant equipment, including pre‑shift safety checks.
- Safely operate mobile plant.
- Conduct production checks to ensure compliance.
- Maintain good housekeeping procedures.
- Perform basic maintenance, greasing and cleaning.
- Work safely, promoting the company's Zero Harm ambition.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- No prior equipment experience required; full training will be provided.
- Background knowledge of Maen Karne and its core values is advantageous.
- Strong health and safety awareness and commitment to Zero Harm.
- Excellent time‑keeping and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to integrate into an existing team.
- Ability to assess tasks and implement safety provisions before commencement.
