About the Role
Careline Lifestyles is seeking a dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team at Willow Park. This role offers an opportunity to support individuals with complex needs, helping them reach their personal goals and improving their quality of life. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) with flexible working available.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Deliver therapeutic intervention plans under indirect supervision; assist service users to work toward goals and record progress; support hydrotherapy, monitor pool conditions; plan and deliver group activities; manage therapy equipment stock; assist PBS Practitioners with incident reviews and trend monitoring; provide additional funded therapy input as directed.
- Communication & Documentation: Build professional relationships with service users and families; complete behavioural observations, contact notes, and required documentation; use strong listening and observational skills during assessments; attend supervision, MDT meetings, and collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team; support the development and review of care and behaviour support plans; produce regular reports on therapeutic provision and outcomes.
- Education & Training: Participate in supervision, appraisal, and reflective practice; complete required training and keep records; assist with preparing and delivering training sessions and person‑centred formulations.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards this)
- Minimum two years’ experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern
- Experience working with people who have physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities, special needs, and age‑related support needs
- A caring, proactive, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable individuals
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
