Responsibilities:

  • Support RWE Control and Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, and Stores teams.
  • Conduct planned maintenance, breakdowns, and outage responsibilities with each team when required.
  • Cover and assist in the site Stores when required.
  • Adhere to all RWE/Hargreaves Health and Safety regulations and policies.
  • Loading/unloading vehicles and general forklift duties.
  • Deliveries off site.
  • Work reasonable overtime when required.
  • Follow instructions directed by RWE Supervisor/Hargreaves Site Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • NVQ qualification in mechanical/electrical maintenance desirable.
  • Maintenance experience or strong desire to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Passport to Safety, IOSH Managing Safely desirable (training given).
  • Counterbalance forklift desirable.
  • Reach forklift, Telehandler (training given).
  • Full Driving Licence (essential).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces/top person duties – medium risk (training given); working at height and in an outdoor environment.
  • Ready to follow processes, complete work to a high standard, and take responsibility for development and actions.
  • Role model the RWE desired behaviours: trust, passion, and performance.
  • Safety conscious; confident to challenge unsafe acts, raise concerns, and help drive the safety culture on site.
