BJF Group is a leading multi‑discipline main contractor across the UK, specialising in high‑quality construction projects and an established facilities management division. The small works team manages daily minor works across diverse properties and systems.

Maintenance Plumber reporting to the Contracts Manager, responsible for hands‑on, customer‑facing delivery of commercial contract works.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance of heating installations in domestic and commercial buildings, including boilers, pipelines, valves, pumps, control gear and other equipment.
  • Complete installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage and sanitation installations in domestic and commercial buildings.
  • Undertake fault‑finding, diagnosis, problem‑solving and analysis of plant operation for plumbing, drainage, heating and HVAC systems.
  • Carry out relevant testing and certification of mechanical plant and systems in accordance with regulations and the postholder’s qualifications.
  • Work safely and to a high standard, adhering to best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2.
  • Experience in commercial gas heating.
  • Experience in plant‑room installations.
