The role involves providing a wide range of company services on our client sites throughout the UK, including:
- Hearing tests
- Lung function tests
- Skin checks
- Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) assessments
- Vision screening
- Job specific medicals (e.g., FLT driver medicals)
- Drug & alcohol screening
- Blood pressure checks
- Wellbeing assessments
Drive a mobile medical unit (approximate size of an ambulance) or own road‑worthy vehicle to provide services at client sites. Work away from home with overnight stays for up to 4 nights most weeks (leave Monday morning, return Friday evening). Operate a 24/7 service, working shifts including early starts, evenings and nights. Monday to Friday primarily, with occasional weekend work.
Ensure targets and KPIs are met, comply with company protocols, maintain excellent customer service, display a positive, willing attitude, and support and promote "Latus Group" and all policies.
Training & Development
Commit to personal development, maintain evidence of development, attend all relevant training internally and externally, share learning experiences, undertake relevant training for formal qualifications, discuss development needs with the Training & Quality Manager, and pursue further qualifications as necessary.
Skills / Experience Required
- Previous experience delivering Health Screen services or background in health and wellbeing
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent customer service / client focus
- Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams) and bespoke Occupational Health software
- Full UK driver’s licence, with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Ability to provide secure off‑site parking for the mobile unit, if assigned
- Ability to work independently, pro‑active, with decision‑making and prioritisation skills
- Good time‑management skills, able to meet tight deadlines
- Problem‑solving mindset, positive attitude, attention to detail, emphasis on data recording
