This role sits at the centre of that work, leading our most strategically important client accounts, owning the commercial relationship from contract to renewal, and ensuring that TKC's tech-enabled platform translates into outcomes clients can genuinely depend on.

The Strategic Account Director is a senior commercial leader who works across Service Delivery, Technology, Data and beyond, driving account growth, managing risk, and setting the standard for how TKC builds partnerships that last. It's a role for someone who combines sharp commercial instinct with genuine client empathy, and who wants real ownership over some of the most significant relationships in the business.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develops and executes strategic account plans that align client objectives with TKC's commercial and operational goals.
  • Owns the client relationship at director level, acting as the primary escalation point and internal champion for key accounts.
  • Leads commercial negotiations including contract renewals, pricing strategy, and P&L management across the portfolio.
  • Drives revenue growth by identifying and converting expansion and new business opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Provides visible senior leadership to Account Management teams, ensuring coherence and quality delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
Principle Tasks
  • Builds and maintains trusted senior relationships with client stakeholders, meeting regularly to review performance, share insights, and agree priorities.
  • Works closely with Service Delivery, Quality, and Data teams to monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives that proactively enhance service quality.
  • Manages client contracts, renewals, and annual price increases in line with commercial targets, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborates with the Tech team on the development roadmap to surface relevant innovations for clients and support their digital transformation goals.
  • Identifies, mitigates, and escalates operational, financial, and reputational risks across the portfolio.
  • Line manages Account Managers on designated key accounts, providing coaching, direction, and a clear, blame-free environment for the team to thrive.
  • Takes ownership of complex or escalated client issues, leading investigation, resolution, and structured communication back to the client.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in Account Direction or senior client management in a complex, B2B service environment.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the security, facilities management, or professional services sectors.
  • Experience managing high-value, multi-stakeholder client relationships at senior or board level.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to build and manage client P&Ls, model pricing scenarios, and negotiate contracts with confidence.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, comfortable presenting at C-suite level and adapting style across audiences.
  • Tech-minded, curious about how technology and data can improve client outcomes and comfortable engaging with TKC's digital platform and development roadmap.
