Company Description: Re‑Ropes are a UK industry leader in the supply and installation of high‑quality elevator wire ropes and mechanical lift repairs, now part of the WH Scott Group, strengthening our position within the lift and engineering sector. We carry out heavy repair works on behalf of independent and multinational lift service companies, providing nationwide coverage.
Role Purpose: We are looking for a motivated Engineer's Mate to join our operations team. You will work alongside experienced repair engineers, supporting mechanical lift repair works while gaining hands‑on industry experience and training.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Work safely at all times with a strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Support qualified engineers in carrying out mechanical repair works
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Represent the company and our customers in a professional manner while on site
- Demonstrate excellent punctuality and timekeeping

Knowledge & Skills Required:
- High level of health and safety awareness

- Live within a commutable distance of Woolwich and be able to travel across the South East region – flexibility to travel is essential

- Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner
