Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
- Plan and implement EYFS‑appropriate activities that are stimulating and engaging.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Follow safeguarding and child welfare procedures and participate in Safer Recruitment processes, including application, interview, reference, and DBS checks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Patience, empathy and a genuine love for working with children.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- First Aid Paediatric and CPR certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding).
