The Logistics Administrator (Nights) supports the automotive shipments team across the UK and Europe, ensuring a high level of service delivery, operational accuracy and clear communication with customers, suppliers and subcontracted carriers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor the full lifecycle of automotive shipments from order receipt to completion and invoicing.
- Ensure all operational processes are followed in line with customer SLAs and internal procedures.
- Proactively monitor transport movements and manage shipment deviations.
- Coordinate vehicle movements with subcontractors and maintain accurate system records.
- Provide clear and timely operational updates to customers and suppliers.
- Escalate operational issues to the Senior Logistics Specialist when required.
- Proven experience in an administrative, customer‑focused or office‑based role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for getting things right the first time.
- Clear, confident communicator who builds strong relationships with ease.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and is a proactive, solutions‑driven problem solver.
- Confident using IT systems with accurate and efficient data‑entry skills.
