Responsibilities
- To clean and dry all production areas and machinery to an approved quality standard.
- Maintain a supply of cleaning materials and order as necessary.
- Adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations.
- Work in a manner that prevents or minimizes the risk of accidents to yourself or others.
- Adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production.
- Comply with managers/supervisors' instructions in a timely manner.
- Comply with prevention of needless waste and be able to complete tasks around the production machinery.
- Demonstrate awareness of food safety culture.
- Willingness, if needed, to help other members of the cleaning team carry out duties.
Essential Qualities
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
- Thorough and conscientious work aptitude.
