Within our Project Services division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of prisons across our client sites.

Position: Reporting to the Project Services Operations Supervisor, the Plumber will be responsible for project work across Lewes.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out maintenance of heating installations
  • Completing installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage, and sanitation installations
  • Undertake faultfinding diagnosis, problem-solving, and analysis of plant operation pertaining to the operation and efficacy of the installed mechanical systems (including plumbing, drainage, heating, and HVAC systems)
  • Carry out relevant testing and certification of mechanical plant and systems in accordance with all appropriate regulations and within the remit of the postholder's relevant qualifications
  • Always work in a safe manner and to a high standard, in line with best working practices
