Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day operational duties of the team.
- Ensure safe deployment of the team, maintaining all health, safety and quality elements.
- Deliver work to a high standard.
- Communicate with clients, HIS Framework and Project Manager on progress or any arising issues.
- Promote a proactive safety culture on all projects to support a zero harm culture.
- Assist in delivering projects on time.
- Identify efficiencies and innovation opportunities where possible.
- Provide information for key project tools such as inspection and test plans, project programmes and risk registers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of five years' experience supervising staff.
- Mechanical or electrical formal qualifications through the apprenticeship route.
- Proven supervisory skills and experience.
- FLT licence preferable.
- CDM Awareness Training.
- Training in welding, rigging, slinging or confined space preferable.
- Ability to set the team to work safely, including all safety paperwork, RAMS, POWRA, etc.
- Ability to oversee project work to completion.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Positive attitude towards safety.
- Strong team player.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work well under pressure and on tight timescales.
