We Change Lives (WCL) is seeking an experienced and passionate Peripatetic Clinical Quality Manager to join our Complex Care services. This is a senior clinical leadership role, providing specialist nursing oversight across multiple services supporting individuals with complex physical health needs and behaviours. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care and supporting services to meet and exceed regulatory standards.
Working closely with the Head of Complex Care, you will travel across services to provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and support to managers and frontline teams, helping drive continuous improvement and strong clinical outcomes.
A Day in the Life of a Peripatetic Clinical Quality Manager:
- Providing clinical leadership across complex care services
- Supporting managers and teams with complex clinical decision-making
- Driving high standards of care and regulatory compliance
- Leading audits, reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting services through inspections and improvement plans
- Coaching and developing colleagues to strengthen clinical practice
- Analysing data and trends to improve service performance
- Supporting the management of complex cases, including crisis situations
- Promoting best practice in physical health, mental health, and behavioural support

What We're Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) qualifications
- Significant experience in complex care or similar settings
- Strong clinical leadership and decision-making skills
- Experience managing or supporting teams in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk management
- Ability to work independently across multiple services
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
- Experience working with acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, or complex behaviours
- Knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks
