Position: Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant – part time, 20 hours per week – Beech Park Nursing Home, Kildare R51 PC58, Ireland. Beechfield Care Group is seeking a dedicated assistant to support residents’ care. This role requires applicants who are already in Ireland; no work permit or visa sponsorship is available.
About the Role:
- The Housekeeper/General Operative will oversee housekeeping and laundry operations at the nursing home.
- Working hours will be varied to meet the home’s needs and may include occasional weekend work. Approximately 16 hours are available per week.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work across the nursing home as a Catering Assistant.
- Work across the nursing home as a Laundry Assistant.
- Remain continuously vigilant toward the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Adhere to all hygiene, health and safety regulations.
- Assist in preparation of meals and beverages for residents and staff to required hygiene standards.
- Prepare resident trays and dining areas ensuring necessary equipment, utensils, and food are available in required quantities and at the right time.
- Clear and clean kitchen, dining areas, and catering utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment as directed by the Head Chef / Director of Nursing.
- Perform any other duties as required.
