Agena is building a modern, ambitious marketing and communications function to support a fast‑growing, multi‑brand business that is evolving at pace. This role sits at the centre of that transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support brand, communications and storytelling across the group.
- Write engaging content for websites, newsletters, press releases, case studies and campaigns.
- Deliver internal communications that connect and engage employees.
- Support media activity, reputation management and external communications.
- Help maintain consistent brand identity, tone of voice and messaging.
- Work closely with teams across the business to uncover stories and communication opportunities.
- Support campaigns, ESG communications, award submissions and executive messaging.
- Explore new tools, platforms and AI‑supported ways of working.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified with demonstrable working experience in communications, PR, journalism or marketing.
- Excellent writing and editing skills across different platforms and audiences.
- Experience across B2B and B2C communications is desirable.
- Strong storytelling ability with a creative and audience‑first mindset.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of brand and reputation.
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Familiarity with CMS, email platforms and AI tools would be an advantage.
- Curious about people, culture and experience across an organisation.
Further desirable experience:
- Working in regulated, scrutinised or infrastructure sectors.
- Extensive experience within residential, healthcare, education or retail sectors.
- Working within fast‑growth, multi‑brand or private‑equity‑backed organisations.
Benefits and Conditions
- Salary: £35,000 per annum.
- Hours: 40 per week; Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
- Remote working with travel to Agena offices as required.
