Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery working closely with operations, engineering and design teams to achieve required outputs, standards and specifications.
- Exercise financial responsibility for projects, reporting on and managing commercial aspects.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer/client focus.
- Collaborate with the PMO to deliver the project through the end‑to‑end process.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams and develop relationships externally with clients, professional teams, stakeholders and end users.
- Manage resources, liaise with project delivery staff to optimise utilisation.
- Produce monthly reports on current projects, including programme, financials, contractual and resource issues.
- Promote and drive good practices and cultures within the business, including health, safety, quality and environmental.
Qualifications
- Good project management experience or equivalent role.
- NVQ Level 6 Construction Management / Prince2 or APM qualification or equivalent (or working towards).
- CSCS card – black or relevant industry accreditation, SMSTS training.
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations for the Principal Contractor role.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or working towards).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
- Customer service focus, practical, logical, adaptable, able to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong relationship‑building and effective communication skills (phone, writing, in person).
- Positive attitude towards safety and reporting unsafe conditions.
