We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join Suir Engineering Ltd. This position will support EP&R projects in Kilmarnock.
About the role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams
- Comply with project safety requirements
- Design high and low voltage equipment and control and protection systems
- Specify, select and procure equipment
- Prepare technical specifications and enquiry documentation
- Assist with contract documentation
- Monitor progress against the programme and issue progress reports
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments
What we are looking for
- A third level degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the power and renewables sector
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to influence colleagues at all levels and work as part of a high performing team
