Location: Derby, England, United Kingdom. Driver required with a C+E licence and a professional CPC card. (Monday-Friday)

The Role Involves delivery of doors from our base in Derby to various locations within England, mainly to the London/Greater London area. Occasionally, you may need to travel to our Head Office in the West of Ireland for holiday cover.

Responsibilities

  • Use Moffett-Mounty and electric forklift to unload pallets of doors – training will be provided if needed.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and adhere to Health and Safety procedures/legislation.
  • Act as the face of our company; maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills, politeness, courtesy and command of the English language.
  • Ensure punctuality, tidiness and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Support team operations and remain flexible.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a driver.
  • Construction industry knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong track record of timeliness, tidiness and thoroughness.

Benefits

  • £16.50 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Full‑time, permanent employment – Monday to Friday, with a half day requested on Fridays in some weeks.
  • 28 days holiday per year, including bank holidays.
  • £100 bonus per month for 100% attendance, no accidents, points and teamwork.
  • Rotation of duties required may include occasional weekend or bank holiday work, but this is rare.
  • You will be the sole driver of a clean, well‑maintained sleeper cab truck with all facilities for overnight stays.
  • When delivering in London, you will be based in our Neasden Depot equipped with shower and modern kitchen facilities.
