Job Purpose
To drive LGV/HGV vehicles and deliver goods and services efficiently and safely, maintaining company assets and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Check the safety and condition of the vehicle at the start of each day; record condition and report faults promptly.
- Care for the company's assets and use them according to manufacturer's recommendations.
- Ensure vehicles are securely loaded, restrained and within legal weight limits.
- Drive efficiently, productively and within traffic law, keeping health and safety paramount.
- Represent the company professionally at all times and report any matters affecting business prospects.
- Assist in yard and other duties when not driving or on legally required breaks.
- Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant workplace, complying with HR and Health & Safety duties.

- HGV Class 1 licence with experience.
- Drivers CPC card.
- Valid tachograph card.
- On-site training available.
