Location: Cadishead, England, United Kingdom

Compensation: Salary: £38,000 starting; increased to £40,000 after successfully completing probation. Further salary increase to be considered after 1 year service.

Role Type: Full Time (Monday to Friday)

Hours: Up to 48 hours (working to the EU driving regulations)

Role Accountabilities:

The driver will be collecting hazardous & non-hazardous waste in a Class 1 curtain-sided vehicle. Daily duties will involve some heavy lifting, including lifting of drums (up to 25 kg). Nights out in a sleeper cab.

Candidate Requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 Driver.
  • ADR Licence is an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
  • Previous relevant driving experience and possession of a Digi-card.
  • Demonstrates good driving skills.
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
  • High level of written and mathematical skills, as there will be paperwork involved.
  • A flexible approach to the role.
  • Works well in a team or on their own.
  • Full clean driving licence.
