The Production Operative based at our Henlow site will impart knowledge and aid development, being customer oriented while understanding the company needs. Hours are 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am on a 2‑week rotation.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manufacture weather seals in a safe manner.
- Replace raw materials to ensure continuous production.
- Conduct quality control checks on profiles.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Targets (OEE, Scrap, OTIF, Quality Standards, Throughput and Productivity).
- Ensure informative handover is effectively communicated to succeeding operator, recording points of note, signing and dating them in handover book.
Key Skills:
- Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Tools and Techniques.
- SAP experience.
- Good experience with Microsoft Office.
