Salary: £31,000 + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily housekeeping operations across guest suites, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
  • Ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standard prior to guest arrival.
  • Conduct regular room inspections and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Manage in‑house laundry operation and linen stock levels.
  • Create staff rotas and ensure effective team coverage.
  • Train, support, and develop the housekeeping team.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning products, linen, and guest amenities.
  • Work closely with the House Manager to ensure seamless room readiness and guest arrivals.
  • Ensure full compliance with COSHH, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping leadership or supervisory role within hospitality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
  • Experience managing teams and organising operational workloads.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Hands‑on approach and willingness to support the team operationally.
  • Understanding of housekeeping health & safety and COSHH procedures.
  • Experience in boutique or luxury hospitality is advantageous.
