Role Definition

  • To undertake and manage all process related work streams at retail site
  • To undertake Process and Technical projects
  • To work closely with site process contacts to ensure compliance and delivery to all aspects of the ABP NPD/EPD Development Process

Key responsibilities

  • To develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the equipment capabilities at the site
  • To work in partnership with the site Process team ensuring that all NPD & EPD products are launched by fully utilising and adopting the ABP NPD/EPD Development Process
  • To support the site with the completion of actions to deliver specific process improvements to current practices and methodologies
  • To support the site with the completion of site trials to validate the suitability of new/novel ingredients
  • To support the site with trials on new/innovative equipment with the ability to measure and complete detailed accurate reports outlining the output of trials
  • To have a clear understanding of any packaging innovation and site trials
  • To support the sites with any process related issues that require a resolution

  • A level of flexibility to undertake site-based tasks that may fall outside standard office hours
  • Ability to travel and be based at sites within the group for agreed periods to ensure that the role expectations and ad-hoc tasks are met
  • A self-motivated and self-starting individual that is naturally inquisitive with a constant drive to 'seek out' continuous improvement
  • Ability to engage and communicate clearly with confidence at various levels within the organization and customers
  • Ability to support individuals and/or teams to deliver an agreed output within clear timeframe and financial constraints
