Employer: Candlelight Care. Location: Gillingham, Dorset and the surrounding areas. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals to support vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes. Full‑time and part‑time shifts are available (typical shifts from 7am‑2pm and/or 4pm‑10pm). Alternate weekend working may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a relationship with clients, understanding their interests and individual needs.
- Provide emotional and practical support, such as personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic household tasks and meal preparation.
- Assist with medication, mobility aids and personal equipment as needed.
- Monitor overall wellbeing and report any significant health or circumstance changes to the Registered Manager.
- Encourage clients to remain independent while safeguarding their wellbeing.
