We’re recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our office in Falkirk. The role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career and take on greater responsibility for greater reward. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients and join a supportive, friendly team.
Responsibilities:
- Being the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and various forecasts
- Proactively advising clients on the most appropriate in‑house software packages
- Allocating work to, and reviewing the work of, junior members of the team
- Taking on ad hoc analysis and project work
- Direct client contact will be a feature of the role; candidates should be comfortable with and enjoy this aspect of work
Qualifications:
- Experience using IRIS, SAGE and Xero is beneficial
- Experience working in an accountancy practice
