BJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high quality construction projects across various sectors, priding ourselves on our reputation for excellence and attention to detail. Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team delivers reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within client sites. The Fabric Engineer will provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to a range of commercial installations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scope quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Carry out all planned building / fabric maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.
- Ensure the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally to given specifications and ensure timely completion.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to Health & Safety, taking steps to mitigate risks.
- Client facing, maintaining high standards of customer care.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or above in a building services/trade discipline or equivalent.
