Personal Specification:

You will be:

  • Naturally caring, patient and emotionally intelligent
  • Calm and grounded, even under pressure, with the ability to set clear, consistent boundaries
  • A supportive team player who leads with empathy and kindness

Requirements:

This role requires a Level 3 QCF qualification and several years experience working as a senior within a children's residential setting. Attend all trainings which are booked in for you – these are all of value and should be privileged. Access to Level 5 through our internal promotions programme. DSL – Level 3 safeguard training for designated leads.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Registered Homes Manager in ensuring compliance with the company policy and procedures and meeting all Ofsted regulations.
  • Deputise / act up for the Registered Manager in their absence.
  • Work with the manager and team towards the most positive outcomes for the young person.
  • Plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day.
  • Ensure the placement and care plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times.
