Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a Financial Business Partner to join the Finance team based in our Esher, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow office. The Financial Business Partner will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for working with key personnel within the group as their financial partner and main point of contact. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of finance in a growing organisation. This position brings an exciting opportunity to be part of positive change as the team continues to develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate and timely management information to the business
  • Proactively contributing to the identification, development and implementation of system efficiency improvements
  • Performing in-depth analysis of business performance (costs, revenue, and margin)
  • Supporting the preparation of schedules and providing information and explanations as part of the auditor's fieldwork
  • Supervising and mentoring relevant members of the Finance Team

Essential Experience

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Highly organised, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, able to articulate financial information to non-finance specialists
  • Focus on continuous improvement of systems, process and analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
