About the Role

  • Lead the team to deliver accurate, on-time product definitions and technical outputs that meet business and customer requirements.
  • Manage processes for WIS/job briefs, drawings, models and BOMs, coordinate cross‑functional inputs to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, reducing cost, improving efficiency and achieving "right first time" performance through DFMA, engineering change and robust review processes.
  • Monitor KPIs across cost, quality and delivery, and take action where needed.
  • Work closely with R&D to ensure designs are manufacturable, aligned to capability and cost targets, and smoothly transferred into production.
  • Support strong quality and compliance standards, collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to reduce non‑conformances and warranty issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in leading multi‑disciplinary teams across Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineering.
  • Set clear expectations, drive accountability and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
  • Solid experience in product definition, drawings, models, BOMs (bill of material) with focus on accuracy, compliance and on‑time delivery.
  • Commercially aware, work confidently with Sales and customers to support new opportunities and quotations.
  • Understand DFMA, cost reduction via engineering change and structured problem‑solving, use KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, CE marking and reducing non‑conformances.
  • Communicate effectively across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales.
