Job Role:

  • Providing advice and guidance on all HR matters
  • Ensuring all company policies and procedures are complied with
  • Ensuring an efficient recruitment and selection process is conducted
  • Updating and maintaining records and sending relevant daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Following the absence management process in conjunction with department managers
  • Coordinating occupational health and liaising effectively with all concerned parties
  • Conducting investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances with relevant departmental managers in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality within the department at all times
  • Proactively working with employees at all levels of the business
  • Ensuring performance management process (KPIs) adherence across the site and updating relevant reports in a timely manner
  • Participating and supporting group HR projects
  • Driving site employee engagement

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in either HR or Business related discipline, or educated to A Level or equivalent combined with at least 1 year experience in a HR role
  • Professional work ethic with integrity and confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated business decision making and negotiation skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good planning, organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good IT literacy
