Leeds, England, United Kingdom Company: Bitrecruit Client / Employer: Occupop Position Dental Workplace Assessor - Part time (4 days per week) Location: Leeds Salary: up to £30,000 per annum pro rata for candidates with relevant qualifications and experience. For candidates that are not yet CAVA qualified, we will be fully supportive to achieve this qualification with a starting salary of up to £28,500 per annum pro rata. Responsibilities * Schedule and carry out workplace assessments for Dental Nursing learners within required timelines. * Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners when arranging assessment visits. * Ensure all relevant clinical treatments are booked and ready for observation. * Provide constructive and supportive feedback to learners and employers. * Manage your own assessment diary to maximise assessment opportunities. * Maintain accurate and timely completion of assessment documentation. * Support a caseload of learners and prepare them for End Point Assessment (EPA). * Conduct Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities checks within dental practices. * Facilitate communication between learners, employers and Tempdent. * Attend team meetings, handovers and standardisation sessions. * Work towards agreed targets and KPIs. * Maintain GDC registration and CPD requirements. * Promote safeguarding, equality, and best practice across all training environments. Qualifications * Qualified GDC registered Dental Nurse. * Assessor qualification (CAVA or TAQA) or willing to acquire. * Experience working in dental practice. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. * Confident using office software and digital systems. * Ability to motivate and support learner. * Experience assessing Dental Nursing qualifications or apprenticeships would be beneficial. * Teaching or training qualification (AiET or willing to acquire). * Knowledge of or experience working in work-based learning or apprenticeships. * Passionate about developing future dental professionals. * Confident to build strong relationships with learners and employers. * Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. * Confident to communicate clearly and professionally. * Maintains high professional and clinical standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
