We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our growing Risk & Compliance function. This is a key role supporting the Compliance Partner, Compliance Manager, Risk Partner, COLP and MLRO in maintaining and enhancing our firm-wide Compliance Framework. As a Compliance Associate, you will play a central role in supporting compliance operations across the firm, with particular focus on complaints handling, AML, data protection, and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure best practice, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage potential complaints and maintain the complaints register
  • Deliver compliance inductions, training, and firm-wide updates
  • Support regulatory enquiries and lead/assist with investigations and projects
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation
  • Review and update policies and procedures
  • Handle data protection matters (including DSARs)
  • Conduct file audits and support AML/CDD processes, working with the MLRO
  • Draft compliance reports and support accreditations (e.g. Lexcel, Investors in People)
  • Provide day-to-day risk and compliance support across the firm
About You
  • 3+ years' experience in Risk & Compliance, AML, or Data Protection
  • Law firm experience preferred; qualified lawyer/compliance professional desirable
  • Strong knowledge of legal/regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused, and confident engaging with stakeholders
