Purpose of the role
To support the Senior Sales & Operations Planning Manager and the S&OP department in meeting the end-to-end requirements of our customer and supply partners. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will handle daily operations and run the department, supporting all areas across the Demand Driven Network: Demand/Forecasting, Purchasing, Supply & Logistics. The role offers diversity, project-based tasks and needs to be flexible and proactive.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise work based on customer and supply chain demand.
- Attend S&OP meetings and contribute data & reporting to drive insight & actions.
- Work with Demand, Purchasing, Supply, Logistics and wider business to build accurate product portfolios and support maintenance of item master data.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Demand to understand true customer requirements and balance service levels with a lean stock profile.
- Within Purchasing – raise POs on SAP, seek approvals, send POs and chase confirmed 'Door to Port' or delivery dates, maintaining dates on POs and SAP.
- Proactively monitor, analyse and recommend improvements to stock profile, minimise exposure and support risk understanding within the supply base.
- Support the wider Supply Chain team with daily information & data management.
- Actively seek to improve skills and knowledge via training, skills matrix evaluation, and knowledge sharing.
- Promote an attitude of innovation, adaptability, positivity, and intrinsic team motivation with a constant focus on being customer‑centric.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proficient in SAP across all supply chain functions.
- Ability to manage several tasks and initiatives simultaneously.
- Understanding of supply chain connectivity with all departments.
- Knowledge of end-to-end flow of sales to dispatch, aligned to OTIF.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience in the retail or retail supply sector.
