Duties
- Responsible for day‑to‑day operational duties of the team.
- Responsible for safe deployment of team – all elements of health, safety and quality to be maintained.
- Ensure the work is completed to a high standard.
- Communicate with Clients and HIS Framework and Project Manager on progress or any issues arising.
- Assist in promoting a proactive safety culture on all projects to drive for zero harm culture.
- Assist in delivering project on time.
- Identify efficiencies and innovation where possible.
- Assist in the information needed for key project tools such as inspection and test plans, project programmes and risk registers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' experience in supervising staff.
- Mechanical or electrical formal qualifications through the apprenticeship route.
- Supervisory skills and experience.
- FLT licence preferable.
- CDM Awareness Training.
- Welding/rigging & slinging/ confined space trained preferable.
- Set team to work safely including all safety paperwork, RAMS, POWRA etc.
- Ability to oversee project work to completion.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Positive attitude to safety.
- Strong team player.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to timescale.
